Halloween Shopping

It is getting to be the end of October and thus Halloween is among us. People are going out and buying costumes and candy for the people wearing the costumes. But where does one buy all of these things? For costumes you can go to Spirit Halloween. Many of these stores crop up around this time of year and are stocked full of costumes ranging from sultry to conservative, scary to suggestive. They even stock matching costumes for pairs that may be attending Halloween celebrations together. What about the candy though? You can’t have Halloween without candy. Fear not, Fred Meyer,WinCoAlbertsons and just about any other grocer you can think of has stocked the shelves full of candy guaranteed to rot the teeth of any unsuspecting individual. So as you go out shopping remember,Christmas is only around the corner.

Review:Google+

Facebook now has a competitor. Introducing Google+,the sleek, new and run by Google version of Facebook. The differences? First off you can control what you share. On Facebook, when you post something, all of your friends see it. On Google+ only the “circle” of friends that you want to see it will. This means if you are criticising the boss, then the boss won’t see the post unless you share it with him. Other features include “hangout” where you can chat with up to nine people in a video conference;group messenger, where everyone you are texting with can stay on the same page;and instant uploads of photos and videos from your phone.

Could a Satellite Fall on You in Portland?

One of the most popular searches in Portland over the last seven days is “satellite falling”and we have a short video of what it might look like if a “chunk”of a Satellite was to fall through the roof of our school and strike a student.

No student was harmed in the making of this video. Chances of a satellite actually falling and hitting this student is really quite small. Astronomical one might say.
